Our next major hurdle was that our cat, MacGyver, had to be put to sleep. He was sick for quite some time and it wasn't fair to see him suffer. So we made that awful decision and put his tired old body to rest. He was such a great little man and is still missed greatly today.
At my new job, there was a young cat that was in need of a home. He is an orange and white little man who caught my eye, and then wrapped his little paw around my heart. I brought him to "foster" him for the week end to see how it would go. While at our house, he began to show signs of ringworm. So, back to the clinic we went. He was quarantined to a separate room in our house for 6 weeks with daily baths and anti fungal cream. As he got better, I let Lewis play with him for short periods of time. They soon became BEST friends.
Lewis and Clark
Now they play and chase each other non stop. Clark's favorite "toy" is a wagging dog tail. When the day is done, Clark loves nothing better than to curl up with his favorite big brother and go to sleep.
There's more to the story, but I have to run. As soon as I can, I will keep updating our crazy life. There's sooooo much more...
Later,
Tracy
